Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on probability of breakage of electric components when a panel is unexpectedly dismounted in mounting the electric components on the panel, in an opening and closing device of a conventional air conditioner. SOLUTION: This opening and closing device of the separation type air conditioner is provided with a component exclusively used for fixing, to prevent its dismounting except for a necessary time. The component exclusively used for fixing may have a color significantly different from colors of the other components. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electric portion to be mounted on a front panel as a user cannot easily dismount the front panel, to prevent wrong operating procedure in service work and to improve safety and service performance, in an indoor unit of an air conditioner in which a detachable front frame divided into two or more is disposed on a front face of a frame, each of front faces has a screw fixing portion to be fixed to the frame and a blower device, and further the detachable front panel is disposed on a front face of the front frame. SOLUTION: Panel fixing tools for disabling mounting/dismounting are disposed on a front panel mounting/dismounting slide portion, the panel fixing tools have the screw fixing portions to be fixed to the front frame, and the screw fixing portions of the front frame are covered and hidden by the panel fixing tools. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner having an opening and closing device of a front panel by simple structure, and preventing malfunction. SOLUTION: A retaining plate 10c protruding in an opposite direction to a shaft 10b is provided on a second support plate 10 in a neighbor hood of a front face frame side shaft 10b, a retaining wall 2c in parallel with a bearing part 2b for attaching the second support plate 10 is installed on a front face frame 2, and the retaining wall 2c is provided such that a distance L2 from the bearing part 2b to the retaining wall 2c is shorter than a distance L1 from a shaft 10b tip to a tip of the support plate 10c.
