Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which, when the portable terminal is in a function disabled state such as a screen locked state, prevents the function disabled state from being easily re-enabled by other people and a method for controlling the portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 incorporating a display device is provided. The portable terminal 1 comprises: inclination detection means which detects the inclination of the portable terminal 1; display means which displays a pointer 30 on the display device when the portable terminal 1 is in a function disabled state in which its predetermined functions are disabled from use; transition means which causes the pointer 30 to be transitioned according to the inclination of the portable terminal 1 detected by the inclination detection means during the function disabled state; determination means which determines whether the locus drawn by transition of the pointer 30 satisfies a preregistered condition; and disabled state cancellation means which, when the locus was determined to satisfy the condition by the determination means, re-enables the predetermined functions.

Abstract:
[Problem to be solved] The present invention aims to provide an apparatus 1 for evaluating optical properties of a 3D display and a method for evaluating optical properties of a 3D display, which allows an evaluation of optical properties independently of the kind of 3D displays. [Solution] An interocular luminance analyzing unit 30 analyzes luminance perceived between the eyes of an observer based on a luminance distribution image, thereby generating a stereoscopy determination image, a stereoscopy determining unit 40 determines a stereoscopy possible region based on this stereoscopy determination image. This is applicable irrespective of the kind of 3D displays including the two-view type, the multi-view type, and the integral type. Therefore, with the apparatus 1 for evaluating optical properties of a 3D display and the method for evaluating optical properties of a 3D display in the present invention, the evaluation of optical properties can be performed independently of the kind of 3D displays.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an operation which does not impress a user with occurrence of a failure, by displaying no such content as "connection is not established" on the screen of communication terminal at the time of delivery of SMS massage from a sender device to a transmission destination communication terminal. SOLUTION: In the transmission destination communication terminal, an SMS massage is attached with an interlock flag representing whether or not the message is such message as causes packet communication in conjunction with arrival of the message. In the case the interlock flag represents "interlocked packet communication", the contract state of a user as well as the state of access point are confirmed. Based on the confirmation result, either a transmission process or a transmission suppression process is performed for the SMS message. COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient communication of structured data having a structured data format.SOLUTION: An information processing device comprises a receiving unit which receives signals from a communication terminal via a network, a storage unit which stores information, a transmission unit which transmits signals to the communication terminal via the network, and a control unit which controls the receiving unit, the storage unit and the transmission unit. When the receiving unit receives structured data in which first information is expressed with a certain logical structure, the control unit determines a structure identifier of the certain logical structure, the storage unit stores the first information as well as the certain logical structure along with the structure identifier, and the transmission unit notifies the communication terminal of the structure identifier. When the receiving unit receives a signal containing second information and a certain structure identifier, the control unit identifies a logical structure corresponding to the certain structure identifier from among logical structures stored in the storage unit, and constructs structured data in which the second information is expressed with the identified logical structure.
Abstract:
This wireless network control station includes a regulation subject management unit that determines a first regulation rate for a circuit switching domain and a second regulation rate for a packet switching domain, determines at least one access class corresponding to the first regulation rate and at least one access class corresponding to the second regulation rate to be regulation subjects with respect to the circuit switching domain and the packet switching domain, and produces access regulation information indicating the access class determined to be the regulation subject. The regulation subject management unit determines the access class of the regulation subject in a manner so that the number of access classes that are regulation subjects with respect to both the circuit switching domain and the packet switching domain is at a maximum.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control upstream transmission power from a user device.SOLUTION: Downstream reception power DRP2 from a second base station 200 is corrected so as to increase by using a cell range extension offset value OV. On the basis of downstream reception power DRP, a connection destination base station of a user device 300 is selected. Depending on the cell range extension offset value OV corresponding to the second base station 200, parameters Pand α for calculating target upstream reception characteristics TURP and TUSINR in the second base station 200 are set. On the basis of the parameters Pand α, target upstream reception characteristics TURP and TUSINR from a user device are calculated. Upstream transmission power of the user device 300 is controlled so that the upstream reception characteristics from the user device 300 are close to the target upstream reception characteristics TURP and TUSINR.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput in a radio communication system and reduce overhead for report.SOLUTION: A user terminal UE reports group radio quality WCQI for each of a plurality of radio resource groups PSF, NSF to a base station 200 with first frequency. The base station 200 notifies the user terminal UE of allocation radio resource groups PSF, NSF to be allocated to radio communication with the user terminal UE. The user terminal UE reports a unit radio quality SCQI to the base station 200 with second frequency higher than the first frequency for a plurality of radio resource units contained in the allocation radio resource groups PSF, NSF. The base station 200 performs scheduling of the radio resource on the basis of the unit radio quality SCQI.
