摘要: PURPOSE:To permit a submerged breakwater to function as a fishing bank as well as reduce the cost of the submerged breakwater by a method in which bags packed with cheap granules such as sand or gravel are stacked up and covered with a metal covering block of a great specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:A submerged breakwater 1 consists of the main body 2 formed by stacking up bags 3 packed with rock granules such as sand or gravel on the seabed by positioning the upper end of the breakwater 1 under the water surface and a cover 4 formed by placing metal covering blocks 5 on the surface of the body 2. The flow-away of the submerged breakwater by tidal current can thus be prevented, and the breakwater can have a fishing bank function because fish and seaweed can easily reside.

摘要: PURPOSE:To enhance the economic advantage of a revetment by consumption of the wave energy and by miniaturizing revetment block by using a revetment block whose both ends consisting of a U-shaped curved path having openings in its one side and a throttled portion. CONSTITUTION:A revetment block 1 has a U-shaped curved path 5 formed in its concrete body 4 and both ends of an annular projection form with an adequate number of throttled portions 5 projected from inside on its side facing the sea 3 side. Waves are introduced into the paths 5 where the flow is changed, and the energy of the flow is consumed by generating swirl in the throttled portions 6 by friction with the inner surfaces of the paths 5, thereby reducing reflecting waves. The size of the revetment block can be reduced and the economical advantage of the block can be greatly improved.

摘要: PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a caisson having horizontally placed through- holes, by installing a plurality of pipes inside a form body and by turning the form body after placing concrete between the pipes. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped holding member 3 is held in free-turning state around a live spindle 5, and a plurality of pipes 6 are installed on pipe supporting members 7 fitted to a side 3a of the holding member 3. Then, a form body 8 is installed over the holding member 3, enclosing the pipes 6, and spaces between the pipes 6 are filled with concrete 11. After hardening of the concrete 11, the holding member 3 is turned upright, being pulled up by a crane 15. With this arrangement, positioning of pipes at manufacturing of a caisson having horizontally placed through-holes can be made easier than in a case where the pipes are installed horizontally from the beginning, because concrete's buoyancy does not affect the pipes at the concrete placing.

摘要: PURPOSE:To improve the strength and to reduce manpower necessary for construction by supporting a plurality of wave breaking pipes through supports in a mold then contacting the opposite ends thereof with the inner face of the mold and placing concrete therein to produce a block thus reducing the number of split of a bank. CONSTITUTION:A wave breaking pipe 6 is manufactured in a factory while a mold 20 is assembled at site, and wood rods 21 are arranged therein as supports for a plurality of wave breaking pipes 6. Here, the wave breaking pipes 6 are inclined to contact a suction port 11 and a delivery port 13 with the inner face of the mold 20, and arranged vertically in plural stages with the interval being adjusted such that a proper opening rate is provided in the end face of a block 5. When the wave breaking pipes 6 are arranged at predetermined positions, not hardened concrete is placed in the mold 20, and when the mold 20 is removed after hardening of concrete, a wave breaking block is produced. Consequently, transportation cost can be reduced, and since reduced number of blocks are simply stacked, the work is facilitated with sufficient strength.

摘要: PURPOSE:To permit water to flow sufficiently while preventing occurrence of waves splash by using a waves absorptive breakwater element consisting of a tube having a Venturi section, a throat section, and a water retarding section. CONSTITUTION:In a tube 1 to be set by turning its one end opening in opposition to the waves propagating direction of fluid, a Venturi section 5a whose cross section is gradually reduced from the suction port 4a toward the other end side is formed. A throat section 6a to be a minimum cross section is formed on the back side of the section 5a, and a water retarding section 7 is formed through a connection 8a on the way of the tube 1 on the other end side away from the section 6a. A number of the tubes 1 are stacked up to form a jetty, breaking waves effectively under the condition that the flow of water is secured without splash of waves.

摘要: PURPOSE:To reduce the occurrence of reflecting waves by stacking up a number of pipe structures for breaking waves in such a way as to form apertures between the adjacent pipe structures. CONSTITUTION:A pipe structure 1 consists of a concrete block 3 of a square cross section, and a cast iron wave-breaking tube 4 buried over the lengthwise direction of the block 3. A number of the structures 1 are stacked up in such a way as to form apertures 2 through spacers 17 and 18 between the adjacent structures 1. Since the opening rate of the wall structure formed of the structures 1 can be increased through that construction, the occurrence of reflecting waves can be suppressed.

摘要: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of waves flash as well as to permit water to flow sufficiently by a method in which the inserting port and receiving port of the adjacent blocks are coupled with each other to strongly connect body of the blocks, and waves are directed from the suction port of through holes to the small-diameter part and then to large-diameter part. CONSTITUTION:Through holes 4 directed from the outside A of harbor to the inside B are formed in columnar concrete blocks 2 sideways stacked up for, the outside A of harbor to the inside B, which is to be constructed into a dam. For each of the holes 4, a small-diameter part 7 on the outside of harbor, a small-diameter part 10 on the inside of the harbor, and a large diameter part 11 than the parts 7 and 10 between the parts 7 and 10 are provided. The part 11 is common to each through hole 4, whose tube axial direction is crossed through the tube axial direction of the hole 4 and both ends are opened on the block face, in which an insertion port 13 is provided for one open end and a receiving port 14 is provided for the other open end.

摘要: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of waves flash as well as to enable water to flow sufficiently by a method in which tidal waves are directed from the suction port of a through hole to small-diameter part and then from the small- diameter part to the large-diameter part. CONSTITUTION:Through holes 4 directed from the outside 6 of harbor to the inside 7 are formed in columnar concrete blocks 2 sideways stacked up from the outside 6 of harbor to the inside 7, which is to be constructed into a dam 5. For the holes 4, a suction port 12 on the outside 6 of harbor, a smaller diameter part 13 than the port 12 on the inside 7 of harbor, and a larger diameter part 14 than the part 13 in the inside 7 of harbor, which is formed separately or in common to each hole 4, are provided to make up a breakwater block. The waves-breaking function can thus be effected without the occurrence of waves flash under the condition that the flow of water is secured.

摘要: PURPOSE:To make the manufacture of a breakwater block easier as well as to prevent the occurrence of waves flash in such a way as to enable water to flow sufficiently by a method in which tidal waves are directed from the suction port on the end of blocks to the small-diameter part and then through the connected part into the tube. CONSTITUTION:Metal tubes 3 having through holes 4 directed from the outside 28 of harbor to the inside 29 are buried in columnar concrete blocks 2 sideways stacked up from the outside 28 of harbor to the inside 29, which is to be constructed into a dam 25. On the end on the outside of harbor of the tube 3, a suction port 9 opening on the end of the block 2, a smaller diameter part than the tube 3 in the inside from the suction port 9, and a connecting part 11 to connect the small-diameter part 10 with the inside of the tube 3 in far inside from the port 9 are formed of a hardening material to make up a breakwater block.
