SOLUTION: The writing position of the photoreceptor is made variable in a sub-scanning line direction, based on beam position correction data calculated from the positional deviation data of the angular velocity fluctuation of the photoreceptor as a latent image carrier, to suppress the color slippage due to the fluctuation in angular velocity of the photoreceptor.
