Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader system for a card game, which system can realize a card operation substantially similar to that in a real card game. SOLUTION: The card reader system for a card game is equipped with a plurality of card putting tables as fields for playing the card game by mutually putting cards having respectively defined powers on the fields and showing the states of the cards through their postures when they are put thereon for proceeding with a match, and a computer connected to the respective card putting tables for communication. The system comprises a card positioning portion for positioning a card having card information corresponding to its power in the posture when it is put thereon, a card information reading portion for reading out the card information and converting it into an electric signal to be output to the computer, and a card posture obtaining portion for obtaining the card posture and converting it into an electric signal to be output to the computer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by automating a monitoring work, thereby reducing the number of monitoring stuffs. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a wireless-communicable identification information recorder 2 buried in a card 7 and recording user's own identification information, identification information readers 3 provided at the card take-out port 16 of a card delivering device 15, with which the card 7 comes into contact at the time of the introduction of a game and at the card delivering area 18 of a table 17 for a card game, with which the card 7 comes into contact during playing the game, and reading the identification information by radio communication, a controller 4 for comparing the identification information read on the introduction of the game and during the game by this device to monitor whether they are matched with each other, an information lamp 5 for giving information when they are not matched, a recorder 6 for recording the identification information and a monitoring result and an invalidation processor 27 for invalidating the identification information of the recovered card 7.
