Abstract: PURPOSE: A foam transferrer is provided to remove foam generated in a water purification treatment tank by elevating it periodically. CONSTITUTION: If foam and suspended solids are accumulated in a foam container at the bottom of a treatment tank(40), a hydraulic cylinder elevates a movable support. Then the foam container is slowly elevated, so that water is removed to a first draining opening(6) and a second draining opening(7) and only foam and suspended solids remain. Then, another hydraulic cylinder elevates the rear part of the foam container, so that the foam and suspended solids are transferred forwardly. A spray nozzle connected to a spray pipe(42) sprays water in order to remove foams remaining at the bottom of the foam container.
