摘要: The present invention is directed to a substrate product for use in the manufacture of active matrix liquid crystal display panels. The product includes a display substrate suitable for use as a display panel. The display substrate has a thickness less than or equal to 0.4mm, a composition that is substantially alkali free, and a surface smoothness that allows the direct formation of thin-film transistors thereon without a prior processing step of polishing and/or grinding. The product also includes at least one support substrate removably attached to the display substrate.

摘要: A heat insulating/heat shielding glass panel capable of sustaining heat shielding properties even if it is heat treated during production. The heat insulating/heat shielding glass panel (1) comprises a pair of sheets of glass (11, 12) bonded airtightly to face each other at one surface of each sheet at the outer circumferential part thereof through a seal frame (13) fluidizing at a low temperature and forming a hollow layer (14) there between, and a pillar (15) as a substantially cylindrical spacer being inserted into the hollow layer (14) as an atmospheric pressure supporting member and determining the interval between the sheets of the plate glass (11, 12). In order to attain a high heat insulating performance, surfaces (11a, 12a) of the sheets of glass (11, 12) facing the hollow layer (14) are coated with a low emissivity transparent laminate (17) having an emissivity not higher than 0.1 by sputtering. The low emissivity transparent laminate (17) consists of ZnO layers (33, 35) as a dielectric layer divided in the film thickness direction by an SiNx layer (34) as an amorphous layer, and an Ag-Pd layer (32) as a metal layer containing Ag and Pd.

CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing cemented glass comprises the steps of: cutting(S201) large flat glass to fixed size; forming(S202) curvature by adding heat to flat glass in case of cementing curved glass plate like wind shield glass of automobile; washing(S203) flat glass of S201 or curved glass of S202; drying(S204); pre-load joining(S205) curved glass plate or flat glass plate by folding two dried glass plate in one pre-load oven; heating(S206) pre-load joined curved glass plate and flat glass plate in autoclave at the temperature of 120-140deg.C for 3 hours; inspecting(S207) processed product; delivering(S208) finished product. The preliminary joining step(S205) is characterized by fixing two curved glass plate being interposed poly vinyl butyral film with jig not to separate folded curved glass plate by vibration of roller device; removing upper nip roll of front nip roll device and upper nip roll of back nip roll device; heating curved glass plate with fixed temperature using heater of cover in the state of ascending cover to be accordant to height of curved glass plate.
