摘要: PURPOSE: A superstructure of a thin film type liquefied natural gas carrier is provided to promote weight reduction of the carrier by simplifying the superstructure of the carrier. CONSTITUTION: A superstructure of a thin film type liquefied natural gas carrier includes a ballast tank (10), a strengthened deck (20), a trunk deck (30), and an inside and an outside inclination partition wall (41,42). The ballast tank is extended upwardly along the rim of both sides of a cargo loading unit (5). The strengthened deck is prepared on the upper end unit of the ballast tank. The trunk deck is arranged on the upper end of the cargo loading unit. The inside and the outside inclination partition wall are inclinedly extended from both ends of the trunk deck to the side of the strengthened deck, and are separated with each other to have a space in between the partition walls.

The knuckle part forms a space in which longitudinal frames(31) are arranged to a connection part of the strength deck and the longitudinal bulkhead at a predetermined interval. The longitudinal frames are connected to the longitudinal bulkhead.

The closing member is installed in a side space of a hull to position under a strength deck(150). The closing member divides the side space of the hull into two spaces(S2-1,S2-2). The closing member is formed as a ceiling and is composed of a stringer(170) arranged in the side space of the hull. The ballast tank is arranged around a cargo loading part(110) to form a space in which ballast water is charged.
