    摘要: An apparatus and a method for reducing power consumption in a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus includes an antenna, a Radio Frequency (RF) module, a first amplifier, an external power amplifier, and a controller. The RF module converts a baseband transmission signal to an RF signal. The first amplifier amplifies power of the RF signal inside the RF module. The external power amplifier amplifies power of an output signal of the first amplifier. When a transmission power level of a transmission signal is equal to or less than a maximum output level of the first amplifier, the controller controls to transmit the transmission signal amplified by the first amplifier via the antenna. When the transmission power level of the transmission signal is equal to or greater than the maximum output level of the first amplifier, the controller controls to transmit a transmission signal amplified by the external power amplifier via the antenna.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a battery pack case. An upper cover, a lower support base and each side cover form at least one seating depression extending in a sideways direction. Each of the front and rear covers has band locking depressions at positions corresponding to the seating depressions. Each band locking depression has a shape corresponding to a related one of fixing bands. Each fixing band includes a band body which is made of rubber, fabric or plastic and extends a predetermined length in one direction, and a locking protrusion provided on each of opposite ends of the band body. The locking protrusion has a structure corresponding to a related one of the band locking depressions. The locking protrusions of the fixing bands are inserted into the corresponding band locking depressions, thus fastening the elements including the front cover and the rear cover together.

The apparatus includes a gain processor for multiplying time signals in paths by gains set for respective paths, a delay processor for delaying gain-multiplied signals in second to last paths except for a first path by time delays set for respective second to last paths, a summer for summing the gain-multiplied signal for the first path received from the gain processor and the delayed signals received from the delay processor, a PAPR processor for measuring a PAPR of the summed signal received from the summer, for comparing the measured PAPR with a target PAPR, and for requesting one or more changes of at least one of the gain and time delay of each path, and a gain delay controller for changing the at least one of the gain and the time delay of each path according to the request received from the PAPR processor and for controlling the gain processor and the delay processor according to the change.

More particularly, a method and apparatus for increasing HARQ combining capability while effectively using a limited-sized memory are provided. The receiving method for combining the HARQ data includes predicting a maximum size of currently receivable data, converting HARQ data received from a transmitting end into Log Likelihood Ratio (LLR) information, determining whether the received HARQ data is retransmitted data, if the determination result shows that the HARQ data is not the retransmitted data, determining whether the converted LLR information is compressed according to the predicted maximum data size, and storing the converted LLR information in a memory according to the determination result on whether compression is necessary.
