摘要： According to the invention, a method is provided for the compression of data which contain a plurality of information units, comprising: determining of one or more expected values for each of the information units; for each information unit, determining a coincidence of the value of the information unit with the one or more expected values; and producing output data which contain information concerning the coinciding of the values of the information units with the one or more expected values, and information concerning the values of the information units, if non-coincidences with the one or more expected values are found, in which the expected values are formed on the basis of values of information units which have already been subjected to the preceding steps for compression and form a two-dimensional context with respect to the present information unit.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device for the repetitive copying of originals in a copier and comprises a pivotable separating guide which forms, with a supplementary guide-plate, a loop-compartment for the copying original, the front edge of which is gripped and guided by a gripping unit. The separating guide is composed of planar portions which adjoin one another at an obtuse angle and give the separating guide a shape which is generated by a series of discrete bends. Air nozzles direct streams of air into the loop-compartment in such a manner that during the repetitive copying process they press the copying original, which is present in the loop-compartment, against the interior surfaces of the separating guide and of the curved supplementary plate.

摘要： According to the invention, a method is provided for the compression of image data, comprising: dividing an image which is to be compressed into a plurality of image sections; determining, for each image section, a compression method from a plurality of compression methods, by means of predetermined parameters; and compressing the image data of each image section by means of the respectively determined compression method. By dividing an image which is to be compressed into a plurality of areas or sections, a suitable compression method can be allocated to each image section. In particular, the plurality of compression methods comprises a lossless compression method and a lossy compression method. For image sections which consist predominantly of text, a lossless compression method is selected. For image sections which consist predominantly of graphic representations, a lossy compression method is selected.
