    摘要: An extruder for feeding material and for removing gas from the fed material. The extruder includes a vent block positioned between a first and second auger. The vent block including a vent cavity having a feed end and an exit end, an inner feed ring that partially extends into said vent cavity at the feed end of the vent cavity, and a screw element rotatably positioned in the vent cavity. A front portion of the outer ring is longitudinally aligned with or overlapping the front end of the inner feed ring. The outer ring forms at least one gap or opening at or adjacent the feed end of the vent cavity to enable gas to flow out of the vent cavity as material is moved though the vent cavity from the feed end to the exit end by the screw element.

    摘要: A wiring clip for stud frame dry wall construction holds various forms of wiring a required distance from the nearest edge or face of the stud to which the dry wall is secured. A wire form of the clip is particularly suitable for wood studs while strap forms may be used with studs made of metal or wood or other material. Each form of the invention includes an L-shape portion adapted to be secured to the face and/or side of the stud. Extending from such L-shape portion parallel to and recessed from the edge of the stud (interior of the wall board) is a strut and arm with the arm being hinged at the end of the strut remote from the L-shape portion and adapted to be folded back to extend parallel to the strut and locked in place to embrace wiring between such arm and strut. Each form of the clip is easy to install and accommodates a variety of types of wiring. The clips may be crimped by pliers tightly to embrace and conform to the wiring after installation. When properly installed, the wiring will meet code requirements.

    摘要: An apparatus for evenly distributing forces around a die mounted to an extruder barrel includes a barrel flange mounted around the extruder barrel, the barrel flange providing a flange sealing face and a first angular cam surface, and a die adapter for carrying the die, the die adapter providing an adapter sealing face that opposes the flange sealing face, and a second angular cam surface. The apparatus further includes a pair of opposed clamshells each with a semi-circle opening and a lock channel facing each other, each lock channel having angled cam surfaces facing the first and second angular cam surfaces. A locking mechanism is provided at one end of each pair of opposed clamshells, and a spring-biased link mechanism at the other end of each pair of opposed clamshells, whereby the locking mechanism applies a closure force to at least engage the angled cam surfaces against first and second angular cam surfaces, and the spring-biased link mechanism permits the cam surfaces to bring the sealing faces into sealing contact. The apparatus also provides a counterbalanced spring to bias the lower clamshell.
