摘要: A tapping apparatus 1 for beverage 7, provided with a beverage holder 2 and a pressure regulating device 9, the pressure regulating device 9 comprising a first compartment 11 and a second compartment 12, wherein the first compartment 11 contains a first substance 23 and the second compartment 12 a second substance, between the first and the second compartment at least a part of a dosing device 13 is provided and wherein at least one of the first and second compartment is in communication with an inner space 6 of the beverage holder 2. The first and second component can react with each other while forming a gas, in particular C02 gas which dissolves in the beverage 7 and pressurises the beverage holder 2.

摘要: A body fluid sampling system is provided. In one embodiment, the system may comprise a penetrating member driver, a plurality of penetrating members sufficient for penetrating tissue; a tape coupling together at least two of the penetrating members; and a penetrating member release device removing the penetrating member from a sterile environment prior to use and moving the penetrating member into position to be operatively coupled to the penetrating member driver. The driver may comprises of a drive force generator for advancing the penetrating member and a processor coupled to the drive force generator capable of changing the direction and magnitude of force exerted on the penetrating member during the lancing cycle. The driver may further include a human interface on the housing providing at least one output for communicating with the patient.

摘要: A method and device are provided for measuring a level of a clinically relevant analyte (such as glucose) in a fluid (such as blood). The device includes a flow path for conducting said fluid through the device; a detection chamber arranged on said flow path; and detector means arranged to detect analyte levels in the fluid in said chamber, wherein: said detection chamber contains a predetermined amount of an analyte such that that analyte mixes with fluid in the detection chamber to form, at the detector means, a calibration sample of the fluid at a time after the arrival of the fluid in said detection chamber, and said detector means is arranged to detect a first analyte level of an unadulterated sample of the fluid at a first time which is before the formation of said calibration sample and to detect a second analyte level of said calibration sample at a second time which is after the formation of said calibration sample.
