Abstract:
The invention concerns a frame comprising two posts (4, 4′) and two cross-members (6, 6′), a catching member (8, 8′) adapted to receive one corresponding end of at least one heald (10), and damping means (12, 12′) against which at least one end of the heald is urged to be pressed. At least when the frame is stationary, the heald being substantially rectilinear, when one first end of the or each heald (10) is pressed, either on a first catching member (8) at the traction zone (S1) thereof, or on a first damping means (12) at the compression zone (C1) thereof, the other end of the or each heald (10) is pressed, either on other damping means (12′) at the compression zone (C′1) thereof, or on another catching member (8′) at the traction zone (S′1) thereof.
Abstract:
A single-web loom for loop velvet fabric comprises means for inserting weft yarns (2) in a shed (F1) formed by warp yarns. It further comprises individually controlled electric actuators (6), each suitable for bringing at least one warp yarn guide heddle into one of at least four positions (N1, N2, N3, N4) defining at least three warp yarn sheds (F1, F2, F3), and means for simultaneously inserting into each of the sheds (F2, F3) other than the shed (F1) into which the weft yarns are inserted, respective warp yarn guide rods (31, 32) for forming loops or pile.
Abstract:
A heddle frame comprises two uprights and two crossbeams, each of which is provided with a catching member adapted to receive a corresponding end of at least one heddle, while there are also provided damping means, mounted to at least one corresponding catching member, which are placed opposite surfaces for direct abutment of the catching member against the at least one heddle. The catching member is formed by at least one bent metal sheet retains the damping means by cooperation of their complimentary shapes and/or by adhesion.

Abstract:
A weave system comprises a plurality of electric rotary actuators each of which is adapted to drive a pulley for winding a cord element controlling the position of at least one heddle, and wherein a removable cover is provided to isolate and protect a group of pulleys mounted on adjacent actuators. The cover is provided with means for releasably retaining at least one pulley in a position allowing it to be assembled on a corresponding actuator or dismantled with respect thereto as the cover is moved toward or away from a mounting position over the corresponding actuator and which releases the at least one pulley to freely rotate within the cover when the cover is completely seated in mounted relationship with respect to the actuators.
Abstract:
The dobby according to the invention comprises, at the level of each of its blades, an oscillating piece associated with an actuation element, at least one mobile coupling member borne by the actuation element and two pivoting levers subjected, on the one hand, to the action of a reading device and, on the other hand, to that of elastic means which tend to engage catches of the pivoting levers either with a jamming surface provided on the actuation element, or with the coupling member, while the lever in engagement with the jamming surface is out of range of a selector of the reading device. In addition, mechanical members independent of the reading device are adapted to displace, against the action of the elastic means, a lever whose catch is not in engagement with the jamming surface, with the result that it does not interfere with the angular displacement of the selector.
Abstract:
The frame according to the invention comprises two uprights and two crossbeams, each of which is provided with a catching member adapted to receive a corresponding end of at least one heddle, while there are also provided damping means, fast with at least one corresponding catching member, which are placed opposite surfaces for direct abutment of this catching member against a corresponding heddle. The or each catching member is formed by at least one beat metal sheet, which ensures fixation of the damping means by cooperation of shapes and/or by adhesion.
Abstract:
A method of forming a stator for an electrical actuator of a type which may be used in weaving looms and weaving systems wherein a stack of armature plates having two-spaced sections are initially wrapped with an electrically conductive wire to create two coils afterwhich the stack is folded to sever severable bridge elements of the stack and to form an armature to include a tubular housing for a rotor.
