摘要: An object of the invention is to find a cancer-associated gene to be used as an index for detecting canceration of cells and degree of malignancy of cancer, so as to provide a method for detecting cancer using the cancer-associated gene as an index and provide a method of suppressing/treating cancer using the cancer-associated gene as essential part. According to the present invention, specific genes which are amplified or deleted in gastric carcinoma as compared with normal cell have been collectively found, and a method for detecting cancer using amplification or deletion of these cancer-associated genes as an index is provided. Further, cancer can be suppressed by introducing a gene which is deleted in cancer cells among these cancer-associated genes into cancer and inhibiting the transcription product of the gene amplified.

摘要: In order to provide a pressure-swing-adsorption oxygen production process which can maintain the product recovery at a high level while enhancing the oxygen productivity and reducing the unit power consumption, a pressure recovery step is carried out in which communication is provided between an outlet end of an adsorption column which has completed an adsorption step and an outlet end of an adsorption column which has completed a regeneration step, and in which gas remaining in the adsorption column which has completed the adsorption step is collected within the adsorption column which has completed the regeneration step; and simultaneously with the pressure recovery step, a gas mixture which has approximately the same composition as feed gas mixture is introduced into at least one of the adsorption column which has completed the adsorption step and the adsorption column which has completed the regeneration step through the inlet end thereof.

摘要: A pressure swing adsorption process which includes switching a plurality of adsorption columns packed with an adsorbent successively to an adsorption step, a pressure equalization step, an evacuation step, a vacuum purge step, a pressure equalization step and a repressurization step to allow a more strongly adsorbable component gas contained in a gaseous mixture to be adsorbed on the adsorbent and to separate a less strongly adsorbable component gas. The process further includes compressing the thus separated less strongly adsorbable component gas by a product gas compressor to supply it as a product gas. An adsorption column having completed the adsorption step and another adsorption column having completed the vacuum purge step are allowed to communicate to each other on product discharge sides and on raw material supply sides respectively in the pressure equalization step, to recover the product gas under gradual increase of gas flow rate on the raw material supply side and also to evacuate the adsorption column having completed the adsoroption step.
