    摘要: A method for manufacturing a liquid ejection head having an ejection port-forming member in which an ejection port configured to eject liquid is formed, includes the steps of preparing a substrate including a base substrate; a first layer composed of a resin composition not containing a polymerization initiator but containing a compound that can be polymerized by irradiation with active energy rays under the presence of the polymerization initiator; and a second layer composed of an active energy ray-curable resin composition containing the polymerization initiator; pressing a mold, on which a pattern of the ejection port has been formed, against the first layer and the second layer; irradiating the second layer with the active energy rays while the mold is being pressed against the first layer and the second layer; bonding the second layer to another supporting substrate; and detaching the base substrate.

    摘要: Provided is a method for manufacturing a liquid discharge head including a flow path forming member connected to a discharge port on or above a substrate, the method including: providing a layer containing a photosensitive resin on or above the substrate; providing a mask layer that enables reduction of transmission of light with a photosensitive wavelength of the photosensitive resin, at an area on the layer containing the photosensitive resin, the area corresponding to the flow path; performing exposure for the layer containing the photosensitive resin using the mask layer to make the layer containing the photosensitive resin be a pattern having the shape of the flow path; providing a layer that becomes the flow path forming member, so as to cover the pattern; forming the discharge port at a part of the layer that becomes the flow path forming member; and forming the flow path by removing the pattern.
