摘要： A noise generator capable of producing random, wide-frequency band noise and in which at least one jet of air is directed against a surface of a body such that the air jet is broken up into intense turbulence and such that noise is produced. In a preferred embodiment, the body is immovably located within the throat of an acoustic horn, and air jets directed against the body produce noise which is efficiently coupled, by the horn, with the atmosphere ambient to the horn mouth.
