    摘要: The body of a dielectric filter is provided with at least two parallel flanges (6) on either side of a side surface (4) having electrode patterns thereon, which project from the plane of the patterned side surface (4). The filter (1) is fastened, with the patterned side surface (4) facing downwards, to a base (9), for example a circuit board, which has, at least on one side, over an area the size of the filter, a conductive material which is in electrical contact with the coated surfaces of the filter. The filter is thus enveloped by a conductive layer on substantially all its sides.

    摘要: The invention discloses a three-port filter being able to connect alternately a receiver and a transmitter to a common antenna in a ratio system operating by the time division principle. The first signal path between the first and the third ports comprises all resonators (R1, R2, R3, R4). The second port is connected to one (e.g. R3) of the resonators in the first signal path, whereby a first subset (R1, R2) of resonators lies between the first and the second ports, and a second subset (R3, R4) of resonators forming the signal path between the second and the third ports lies between the second and the third ports. The resonators of either subset are switchable resonators, whose resonance frequencies can be shifted between two frequencies by an external control (Control). At the first control value of the control (Control) the resonators of this subset pass the RF-signal substantially without attenuation, and at the second control value they strongly attenuate said signal.

    摘要: Previously it was not possible to realize a ceramic duplex filter using a single monolithic ceramic block, because the isolation between the transmitter branch and the receiver branch could not be made sufficiently high. A duplex filter (1) can be realized in a single ceramic block by making, between its filters (A and B), a strip-like area (9) on the non-coated surface (5) of the ceramic block, due to which the electric and magnetic coupling between the resonators (R.sub.4, T.sub.1) of filters (A and B) on each side of the area can be adjusted to almost zero. This "electric partition" (9) provides a sufficient isolation between the filters of each branch.

    摘要: A dielectric filter is formed from a block of ceramic material with holes extending from a top surface toward a bottom surface. At least the bottom, both ends and one side surface are coated with conductive material. Also, the interior surfaces of the holes are coated with conductive material to form transmission line resonators. The uncoated side surface has an electrode pattern which allows coupling to the filter and between resonators of the filter. The elevation of the electrodes on the side surface between the top and bottom determines whether the coupling is capacitive, mixed inductive and capacitive, or inductive.

    摘要: In order to provide a sufficient isolation between the resonators of a band-stop filter, prior art band-stop filters must be manufactured from separate ceramic resonator blocks. According to the invention the band-stop filter can be manufactured in a single ceramic block (1), having on one side surface strip-like areas (14; 15) of electrically conducting material extending perpendicularly from the bottom edge to the top edge and being located in the area between the resonators (A and B, B and C) and having dimensions selected so that they substantially cancel the electric and magnetic field between the resonators. If necessary, the coupling between the resonators can be adjusted by changing the width of the strip-like areas (14; 15) or by providing them with discontinuities.

    摘要: A dielectric filter advantageously comprises a body of a dielectric material rectangular in cross-section and confining at least two parallel holes (31', 32', 33') that extend through the body parallel to each other and parallel to the side surface (34) plane. Major portions of the body are coated with a conductive material which also covers the inner surfaces of the holes (31', 32', 33'), hence forming a transmission line resonator for each hole. The resonators may be quarter-wave or half-wave resonators. According to the invention, the holes are located on at least two lines in the long direction of the body in which case the center axis of at least one hole (32') is not located on the same plane parallel to the side surface (34) as the center axes of the rest of the holes. Advantageously, the distance (D) of the center axis of a hole from the center axis of an adjacent hole is identical for all holes. In this manner it is possible to manufacture a filter that has a smaller volume than a filter with identical electrical characteristics having all the holes on one line.
