Abstract: A low profile accessory attachment mechanism suitable for attaching an accessory to an electronic device is disclosed. A straight hook and a curved hook are configured to mechanically engage slots in an electronic device, joining the accessory to the electronic device. By moving one of the hooks or altering the configuration of a slot, the accessory and electronic device may be separated. Additionally, the hooks may carry electrical current.
