Abstract: The invention relates to the use of 2,4-dioxo-1,2-dihydro-4Hbenzoxazine as well as derivatives therefrom as blowing agents for the production of cellular and porous articles. These compounds do not liberate any corrosive, discolorizing, malodorous or toxic decomposition products.
