Abstract: Adaptive-support furniture includes several support rungs, a first and second frame members, several pulleys as well as first and second elongate flexible members. The support rungs each have first and second ends. The first frame member at least partially houses the first ends of the support rungs while the second frame member at least partially houses the second ends of the support rungs. The pulleys are provided to the first and second ends of the support rungs and to the first and second frame members. The elongate flexible members are threaded through the pulleys of the frame members and the pulleys of the ends of the support rungs such that motion of the ends of the support rungs is interdependent.

Abstract: An insulated container for liquids having a lower chamber sealed with a lid, such lid having a reservoir for holding liquid which is pumped from the lower chamber through a dispensing passage. The pump may be an air or water pump of a variety of styles, but it is designed to be operated by a single finger on the same hand that holds the container. This pump may be placed on the lid, such that the lid may be placed on alternate lower chambers. The pump may also be made with a button or soft membrane.

Abstract: A vessel, such as an insulated container, for liquids having a lower portion sealed with an upper portion, such upper portion having a drinking reservoir for holding liquid which is pumped from the lower portion through a dispensing passage, such as a liquid dispensing tube, by a pump mechanism coupled with the upper portion. The pump mechanism is ergonomically operable by way of depressing a feature of the pump mechanism, e.g., by a single finger of the same hand holding the vessel. The upper portion, coupled with the pump mechanism, is redisposable on the lower portion, transposable in relation to any other lower portion, and retrofittable in relation to any other interfaceable pre-existing containers. The pump mechanism is optionally provided with a button or soft membrane. The components of the vessel are easily disassembled and reassembled for facilitating cleaning thereof.
