Abstract: Computation of square root of a product of two magnitudes by the steps of converting each of said magnitudes into series of impulses, each having a frequency proportional to the amplitude of said two magnitudes, recording said series of impulses in registers, multiplying the respectively recorded series of impulses to obtain, their product dividing said product by a fixed number in a divider and using the signal issued from said divider to reset one of said registers.
