    摘要: Disclosed herein is a panel system for covering a building wall. The panel system includes at least one panel assembly. Each panel assembly includes a panel having a front panel wall, a side panel wall, and a back mounting flange overhanging the front panel wall. Each panel also includes at least one perimeter extrusion. Each perimeter extrusion includes a panel engaging portion having a panel slot shaped to receive the back mounting flange of the panel, and a connector engaging portion having a connector slot. The panel system also includes at least one connector extrusion for mounting the panel assembly to the building wall. Each connector extrusion includes a connector base mountable to the building wall, and at least one connector flange shaped to fit in the connector slot of the perimeter extrusion.

    摘要: A panel flange bending tool is disclosed, which includes a head coupled to an arm. The head includes a panel engaging portion, first and second bending corners, and an abutment. The panel engaging portion includes a flange slot having a slot plane extending in a proximal direction from a distal slot opening to a proximal slot end, the slot opening sized to receive a panel flange. The first bending corner is aligned with the flange slot, and the first and second bending corners define a first bending plane. The abutment extends proximal of the first and second bending corners. The second bending corner and the abutment define a second bending plane. The slot plane, the first bending plane, and the second bending plane intersect each other triangularly at first and second internal bending angles. The first and second internal bending angles are less than or equal to 90 degrees.

    摘要: A perimeter extrusion for mounting a panel to a building wall is disclosed. The perimeter extrusion includes a panel engaging portion, and an anchor engaging portion. The panel engaging portion has a fastener slot sized to receive a fastener, which includes a slot upper wall opposite and spaced apart from a slot lower wall by a slot inner wall connecting the slot upper and lower walls at the slot inner end, and a slot outer end defining a slot opening. Each slot upper and lower wall has an interior face extending between the slot inner and outer ends, and at least a portion of at least one of the interior faces is serrated for engaging a fastener. The anchor engaging portion is connected to the panel engaging portion and has an anchor slot sized to receive an anchor flange of an anchor extrusion.
