Abstract: In an accelerator device, a pedal is rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a pedaling force of a pad. An arm connects the pedal to the pad. A biasing member biases the pedal in an accelerator closing direction via the arm. The arm has a shaft portion that is assembled to the pad, and the pad has a pair of support walls that rotatably support the shaft portion. The pair of support walls have wall surfaces facing each other, each of the which is provided with a bearing portion and a thickening portion. The thickening portion includes a curved surface or a slope surface having a surface area broader as a distance from the bearing portion increases.

Abstract: An accelerator device includes a case provided on a floor, a pad arranged outside the case to be stepped on by a driver, a pedal arranged in the case to be rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a stepping force of the pad, an arm connecting the pad to the pedal, and a biasing member configured to bias the pedal in an accelerator closing direction. One end of the arm is press-fitted into a connecting portion of the pad in a press-fitting direction. At least one of the arm or the pad is provided with a play removing part that is configured to eliminate a play between the one end of the arm and the connecting portion in the press-fitting direction by contacting the one end of the arm and the connecting portion.

Abstract: An accelerator device includes a pad configured to receive an input force from a driver, a case attachable to a vehicle body and having a front wall facing the pad, and an internal movable mechanism housed in the case. The internal movable mechanism includes a shaft that is rotatably supported in the case and a pedal extending outward from an outer peripheral portion of the shaft. An arm is arranged to pass through an opening provided in the front wall and to connect the pad and the pedal, and a cushioning member is provided in the front wall, to be inserted between the pedal or the arm and the front wall in an accelerator fully-closed state, and to be inserted between the pad and the front wall in an accelerator fully-open state.

Abstract: An accelerator device includes a stepping member that receives a stepping by a driver, a case attachable to a vehicle body, an internal movable mechanism housed in the case, and a rotation angle detector. The internal movable mechanism includes a shaft that rotates in respond to a stepping to the stepping member, and the rotation angle detector outputs a signal corresponding to a rotation angle of the shaft via a plurality of terminals. Output ends of the plurality of terminals are arranged in an arrangement different from a line arrangement when being viewed from an output side of the plurality of terminals.
