摘要： Devices that detect and monitor components and fluid used with an injector system, such as an angiographic injector system, are disclosed. The devices may include mechanical, electrical or software based indexing or keying features to ensure that only compatible components are used on the system. In addition, these devices may also be used to track and/or monitor fluid volume and use during various injection procedures. Single use and multiple use components, conveniently supplied in kits, may also be tracked and/or monitored by the devices of the present invention.

摘要： A pressure sleeve assembly and a method of its use in a fluid injection system are disclosed. The pressure sleeve assembly includes a longitudinal base member, an endplate associated with the longitudinal base member, a fixed or freely removable door, a cylinder and a pivotal arm coupling the cylinder to the longitudinal base member. The pressure sleeve assembly includes properties that increase the ease of use and maintenance of the assembly so as to reduce the effort required by the user and increase the biosafety aspect of the assembly. In addition, the pressure sleeve assembly includes properties that reduce the amount of effort required by the physician prior to and during use of the system as well as properties that increase its range of applications.

摘要： A delivery system for deploying an occlusion device comprises a piston having a threaded proximal end, an elongated delivery catheter having a proximal end, a distal end, and an inner lumen extending between the proximal and distal ends of the delivery catheter, and a drive mechanism comprising an internally threaded nut member and a spring member. The piston is moveable between a first axial position and a second axial position. The internally threaded nut member receives the threaded proximal end of the piston. The spring member, which is coupled to the internally threaded nut member, rotates the nut member to drive the piston from the first axial position toward the nut member to the second axial position. Driving the piston toward the nut member retracts the attached delivery catheter and deploys an occlusion device from within the inner lumen and through the distal end of the delivery catheter.

摘要： A delivery system for deploying an occlusion device comprises a piston having a threaded proximal end, an elongated delivery catheter having a proximal end, a distal end, and an inner lumen extending between the proximal and distal ends of the delivery catheter, and a drive mechanism comprising an internally threaded nut member and a spring member.
