Abstract: Techniques are described herein to generate a custom share sheet. The custom share sheet comprises one or more shortcut controls to share a content item using one or more corresponding contact-avenue pairs. A contact-avenue pair includes a link sharing mechanism and contact information for one or more recipients within the application or application protocol that uses the link sharing mechanism. The contact-avenue pairs are generated based on the share history of the particular user sharing the content item. Shortcut controls to sharing a Content Item Are primarily generated based on local share history. These shortcut controls are ordered based on contact-avenue pairs that were most recently used to share a content item. Shortcut controls to sharing a Content Item Are secondarily generated based on cross-platform share history derived from content items stored in cloud storage. These shortcut controls are ordered based on contact-avenue pairs that were used to share the most content items.

Abstract: A document system tracks activity within comment threads associated with portions of a stored document. When activity is detected within the document, the document system generates a corresponding notification for display by a client device within a notification interface. The notification interface displays one or more notifications, each associated with activity in documents stored by the document system, and orders the notifications by document, by date, by filter, or any other suitable factor. The user may assign a priority to each document or folder such that notifications associated with documents or folders with a higher priority are displayed before those associated with a lower priority. The notifications may include portions of comment threads, and a user can reply to a comment thread via a response element of the notification interface. The user's reply is incorporated into the comment thread and stored by the document system.

Abstract: A collaborative content item includes an ordered set of comment threads that each correspond to a portion of the collaborative content item. When a user requests that a first new comment be displayed, a first comment thread including the first new comment is displayed within a comment interface. When the user interacts with a new comment interface element, a second comment thread including a second new comment is displayed within the comment interface and a count of remaining new comments displayed within the new comment interface element is decremented. The user can also navigate between comment threads by interacting with the comment interface in a first direction (e.g., swiping, scrolling, selecting an interface element) and can navigate within a comment thread by interacting with the comment interface in a second direction.
