    摘要: An electron gun for a cathode ray tube and a cathode ray tube using such electron gun is provided. The electron gun includes a cathode for emitting an electron beam; a plurality of grid electrodes aligned sequentially from the cathode, one of the grid electrodes including a plurality of focusing electrodes that are mounted with a predetermined gap therebetween; a support for fixing the grid electrodes in their aligned arrangement; and a shield electrode mounted covering the gap(s) of the focusing electrodes and extending a predetermined distance over the focusing electrodes. The cathode ray tube includes the electron gun; a neck, within which the electron gun is mounted; and a scanning velocity modulation coil mounted on an outer circumference of the neck corresponding to the positioning of the gap(s) of the focusing electrodes.

    摘要: An electron gun for a cathode ray tube includes a cathode for radiating electron beams, a scanning velocity modulation coil for synchronizing the electron beams with an image signal, a focus electrode having first and second sub-electrodes disposed with a gap through which a magnetic field generated by the scanning velocity modulation coil passes, a plurality of grid electrodes with the focus electrode for controlling the electron beams radiated from the cathode, a support for aligning and supporting the grid electrodes, and a shield electrode electrically connected to the first and second sub-electrodes to protect against infiltration of an outer electric field. The shield electrode includes plural intermediate electrodes disposed in the gap between the first and second sub-electrodes, and electrical connecting unit for electrically connecting the intermediate electrodes to the first and second sub-electrodes. The intermediate electrodes are spaced away from each other.

The electrodes include a focus electrode for receiving a focus voltage, and an anode electrode surrounding part of the focus electrode for receiving an anode voltage. A support is used to fix the electrodes in an aligned configuration, and a first auxiliary support secures the focus electrode to the support. The focus electrode includes an intermediate aperture section, a small aperture section, and a large aperture section, while the anode electrode includes a large aperture section. Two second auxiliary supports extend toward the cathode while maintaining a distance between each other that is smaller than an inner diameter of the large aperture section. The combined width of the focus electrode and the first auxiliary support is less than the inner diameter of the large aperture section of the anode electrode.

    摘要: An electron gun for cathode ray tubes which is easily assembled and reduces the cost is disclosed. The electron gun has a cathode holding structure. The cathode holding structure includes a support bracket which is fixedly fitted in the first electrode. The support bracket is provided with a plurality of insert holes spaced apart from each other. A plurality of hollow cases are received in the insert holes of the support bracket respectively and fixed to the support bracket. A cathode is concentrically received in each hollow case. The cathode holding structure also has an insulating material which is filled in the hollow case in order to hold and insulate the cathode in the hollow case. In the present invention, the gap between the cathodes and first electrode of the electron gun is easily adjusted thereby preventing the inferiority of the electron gun.
