Abstract:
Photographic apparatus for use with percussion-ignitable flashlamps supported in a multilamp flash unit. The flashlamps each include a striker element releasably retained in a preenergized position and mounted for selective release at individual access sites on the unit. The apparatus is adapted to cooperate with such units through the access sites to effect selective release of individual striker elements in synchronization with picture-taking operations.
Abstract:
A shutter mechanism comprises a set of blades which are rotatable between open and closed positions relative to an exposure aperture wherein an actuating member is coupled to the shutter blades and actuatable by a driver means for moving the shutter blades to the open position. The actuating member is displaceable from a first to a second position wherein a first spring urges the actuating member towards the first position in response to displacement of the actuating to the second position. A second spring is disposed to be engaged by the actuating member as the actuating member moves to the second position. The second spring is displaced by the actuating member and acts in cooperation with the first spring to drive the shutter actuating member to the first position thereby closing the shutter blades at a preselected shutter speed.
Abstract:
A shutter mechanism including a pivotally mounted shutter blade which is rotatable between closed and open positions, a spring arm having a fixed first end and a second end which is engageable with the shutter blade for biassing the blade to the closed position, and a tab carried by the shutter blade for engaging the spring arm between the first and second ends to stop the rotation of the shutter at the open position and to return the shutter blade to the closed position.
