    Abstract: A system can include a first electrical device that includes at least one electrical device component used to perform a first function which the first electrical device is designed to perform. The first electrical device can also include a sound-controlled system integrated with the first electrical device. The sound-controlled system can include at least one first audio component integrated with the first electrical device, and a controller communicably coupled to the at least one audio component. The controller interprets the first audible instruction for the at least one electrical device component of the first electrical device to perform the first function. The controller instructs the at least one electrical device component to perform the first function, identifies at least one second function that complements the first function, and instructs at least one second electrical device to perform the at least one second function to complement the first function.

The electrical device can also include a sound-controlled system integrated with the electrical device. The at least one audio component can capture a sound. The at least one audio component can send the sound to the controller, where the sound, when received by the controller, enables the controller. The controller can be enabled independent of the function performed by at least one electrical device component.

The first electrical device includes at least one electrical device component used to operate the first electrical device to perform a function for which the first electrical device is designed to perform. The first electrical device can also include a sound-controlled system integrated with the first electrical device. The sound-controlled system can include at least one audio component integrated with the first electrical device, and a controller communicably coupled to the at least one audio component. The at least one audio component can capture a sound that enables the controller independent of the function performed by at least one electrical device component. The first controller can send the first sound to the network manager. The network manager can control the at least one second electrical device based on the first sound.

    Abstract: A retrofitted light fixture can include a power source that delivers primary power. The retrofitted light fixture can also include at least one light fixture component of an existing light fixture, where the at least one light fixture component, as part of the existing light fixture, was directly coupled to the power source. The retrofitted light fixture can further include an adapter coupled to the power supply and the at least one light source, where the adapter comprises a controller, where the adapter receives the primary power from the power source, where the controller delivers power to the at least one light fixture component based on instructions.
