Abstract: A door arrester, in particular for a door of a motor vehicle, includes a door retainer rod (30) which can be mounted on either one of the door (2) or the body (3) so as to be pivotable and has a first side (35) with profiling (35a) formed on the first side (35); and a first braking element which can be arranged on the other of the door (2) or the body (3) and in sections bears against the first side (35) of the door retainer rod (30) under the effect of a preload, and which, with the profiling (35a) of the first side (35), defines at least one retaining position. The first braking element has a central boring, the door retainer rod (30) has an elongate through-hole (33), a guide pin (40) passes through the central boring and the through-hole (33), and the guide pin (40) permits an axial movement of the first braking element along the guide pin (40).

Abstract: A door holder, includes a retainer housing (230), which can be connected either to a door or a door frame, and a door retainer rod, which penetrates the retainer housing (230) and which can be articulated to the other of the door and the door frame The door retainer rod has at least one braking surface, and at least one braking element (50) that can be displaced toward the at least one braking surface is arranged on the retainer housing (230), which the braking element can be brought in contact with the at least one braking surface of the door retainer rod at least in some sections and thus produces a primary braking force component against the displacement of the door retainer rod, wherein the door retainer rod has at least one guiding surface, which is inclined with respect to the braking surface. A door holder that provides high holding forces at least in some sections is created in that at least one guiding element (235a, 235b) is arranged on the retainer housing (230), which the guiding element can be brought in contact with the at least one guiding surface at least in some regions and produces a secondary braking force component against the displacement of the door retainer rod.

Abstract: The door check includes a retaining bar (20) which can be connected to one of the two door assembly parts, i.e. the door (8) or the door frame (6), and a retaining housing (13) which can be connected to the other door assembly part. In order to design a door check that allows a vehicle door to be reliably and safely blocked in an automated manner, a threaded bar (50) can be accommodated in an axially movable fashion in a cavity of the retaining bar (20).

Abstract: A retainer housing, in particular for a door check (30), includes a first housing part (2) with a cavity (3) for receiving a brake body (50) and a spring system (40) of a door check (30). The first housing part (2) has a first end (2b) and a second end (2c), and a closing piece (104) which is situated on one of the first end (2b) and second end (2c) of the housing part. The closing piece (104) has an upper face (104a) and a lower face (104b). Multiple elevations (6) are arranged on the lower face (4b; 104b) of the closing piece (4; 104), concentrically around a centre point of the lower face (4b; 104b). The elevations (6) have a stop face (7) for a spring system (40) of a door check (30).
