Abstract: A protective cover for an electrical conductor comprises a substantially tubular cap surrounding the electrical conductor. The protective cover further includes a substantially disc-shaped flange comprising a bore surrounding the electrical conductor in a liquid-tight manner and an outer contour strictly inscribed in an inner contour of the tubular cap facing disc-shaped flange. The tubular cap also comprises at least one perforation arranged at a low point of the tubular cap. In one example, the protective cover is used for a heating element for an exhaust line.
