Abstract: A support and holding assembly for a portable electronic device has a support member with a coupling portion at one end to couple the portable electronic device in a reference position; the support member can be moved in relation to a support structure between a withdrawn rest position and an advanced position, when acted on by a first transmission, and carries a retention member that can be moved to and from an engaged position, in which it locks, in use, the portable electronic device in the reference position.
