Abstract: A radiation detector includes a flexible substrate, plural pixels provided on the substrate and each including a photoelectric conversion element, a scintillator stacked on the substrate and including plural columnar crystals, and a bending suppression member configured to suppress bending of the substrate. The bending suppression member has a rigidity that satisfies R≥L−r/tan Φ+4r·{(L−r/tan Φ)2−(d/2)2}1/2/d, wherein L is an average height of the columnar crystals, r is an average radius of the columnar crystals, d is an average interval between the columnar crystals, Φ is an average tip angle of the columnar crystals, and R is a radius of curvature of bending occurring in the substrate due to the weight of the scintillator.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a radiation detector includes: forming a substrate in which a flexible base material is provided via a peeling layer on a support body and plural pixels that accumulate electric charges generated in response to light converted from radiation are provided in a pixel region of the base material; forming a conversion layer for converting the radiation into light on a surface of the base material; providing a first reinforcing substrate on a surface of the conversion layer opposite to a surface on the substrate side; peeling the substrate provided with the conversion layer and the first reinforcing substrate from the support body; providing a second reinforcing substrate on a surface of the substrate peeled from the support body; and peeling the first reinforcing substrate from the substrate provided with the conversion layer after providing the second reinforcing substrate.

Abstract: The radiation detector includes a sensor substrate and a reinforcing substrate. In the sensor substrate, a plurality of pixels for accumulating the charges generated according to light converted from radiation are formed in the pixel region on the first surface of the flexible base material, and the terminal for electrically connecting a flexible cable to the first surface is provided. The reinforcing substrate is provided on the second surface opposite to the first surface of the base material in a region excluding at least the facing region facing the terminal to reinforce the stiffness of the base material.

Abstract: A radiation detector includes a support table in which an attachment surface having an arc surface shape is formed, a sensor panel which has a rectangular plate shape and in which pixels that include TFTs and detect radiation are two-dimensionally arranged, a circuit board, a flexible cable, and a reduction structure. The sensor panel is attached to the attachment surface while being curved following the arc surface shape. The flexible cables connect a curved side of the sensor panel and a reading circuit board and are arranged along the curved side. The flexible cable is bent to dispose the reading circuit board at an angle of 90° with respect to the sensor panel. The reduction structure reduces a bias of a stretching force applied to the flexible cable caused by the curved side.

Abstract: In a sensor substrate, a plurality of pixels are formed in a pixel region of a first surface of a flexible base material, and a terminal portion for electrically connecting a cable is provided in the terminal region of the first surface. A conversion layer is provided outside the terminal region of the base material and converts radiation into light. A reinforcing member is provided on a second surface of the base material to reinforce the strength of the base material. A stress neutral plane adjusting member is provided inside the terminal region and in at least a part, corresponding to the inside of the terminal region, of a cable electrically connected to the terminal portion.

Abstract: A sensor substrate is provided with a plurality of pixels for accumulating electrical charges generated depending on light converted from radiation in a pixel region of a flexible base material. A circuit unit includes at least one of a driving substrate, a signal processing substrate, or a control substrate and is electrically connected to the sensor substrate. A fixing plate fixes the circuit unit. A conversion layer is provided on a first surface opposite to a second surface of the fixing plate on which the circuit unit is fixed, is provided in a state where the second surface opposite to the fixing plate side faces the first surface of the base material on which the pixels are provided, and converts radiation into light. A housing houses the sensor substrate, the circuit unit, the fixing plate, and the conversion layer.
