Abstract: A network article comment processing method and apparatus, a user terminal device, a server, and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium provided in the present disclosure belong to the technical field of communication. The method includes: obtaining, by a client in a process of displaying a current article, a location where user specified content in the article is located with respect to all the pages occupied by the article; obtaining comment content posted by the user for the user specified content; and sending the comment content and the location at which the user specified content corresponding to the comment content is located with respect to all the pages occupied by the article to a server. In the present disclosure, the user does not need to post or view the comment content at the bottom of the article, the comment content may be displayed at a location at which the user specified content corresponding to the comment content is located with respect to all the pages occupied by the article, and the article and the comment are closely related, which facilitates reading.
