Abstract: In a motor vehicle door of the so-called "open" type, the sliding window is constituted by a single unit having a runner cooperating with a fixed or telescopically-extendible guide rail which can extend from the upper edge of the body of the door.The guide rail supports the window in an intermediate position between the two vertical end sides of the door.
