Abstract: An image capture apparatus including a monolithic front heatsink, a connection mechanism, and an image sensor and lens assembly (ISLA). The monolithic front heatsink includes a planar surface and a connection mechanism located adjacent to the planar surface. The connection mechanism includes: a protrusion and connection projections extending from the protrusion. The ISLA is coupled to the monolithic front heat sink and a portion of the ISLA extends through the protrusion of the monolithic front heatsink.
