Abstract: A method includes receiving, at one or more server computers, an assignment creation request from a leader user account. The assignment creation request identifies a document that is stored at a storage system, identifies a plurality of participant user accounts, and causes creation of an assignment at the one or more server computers. The method also includes storing, at the storage system, a respective copy of the document for each participant user account, wherein an ownership parameter for each respective copy of the document references a respective participant user account from the plurality of participant user accounts.
