    Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a landing page for displaying a plurality of displayed media items are provided. A landing page may include a plurality of sections, and each displayed media item may be displayed in a separate section of the landing page. For a first section of the landing page, a first category may be selected from among a set of categories based on a display probability for the first category. Each category in the set of categories may have a display probability. A first displayed media item may be selected from among a first plurality of media items in the first category. For each section of the landing page, a category may be selected from among the set of categories based on a display probability for the each category, and a displayed media item may be selected from among a plurality of media items in the each category.

A universal score may be assigned to each of the one or more current promotions, wherein the universal score is updated dynamically based on interactions with the one or more current promotions by one or more users.
