Abstract: Example implementations relate to managing configuration requests in computer networks which include a set of configurable external entities. In an example, a received configuration request can be decomposed into a set of provisioning items and the set of provisioning items can be stored in a data structure. Using provisioning items from the data structure, a set of provisioning operations can be constructed, and the set of provisioning operations can be dispatched to at least one of the configurable external entities of the set of configurable external entities to provision the at least one configurable external entity in accordance with the received configuration request.
