Abstract: This application discloses a communication method and a communication apparatus. The method applied in a half-duplex terminal device in paired spectrum includes: receiving first information, wherein the first information is used to enable the terminal device to perform DMRS bundling; and determining that an actual time domain window TDW in a nominal time domain window TDW ends on a last symbol for an uplink transmission before a first event, wherein the nominal TDW is for DMRS bundling, the first event is an event that causes power consistency and phase continuity not to be maintained, and the first event comprises one or more of the following: a dropping or cancellation of an uplink transmission within the nominal TDW due to a conflict rule; or an overlapping of a gap between two consecutive uplink transmissions within the nominal TDW and a symbol for a downlink transmission.
