Abstract: A user equipment arranged to operate sidelink communication. The user equipment includes a transceiver that is configured to receive a first signal from a first synchronization source. The user equipment further includes a processor which is configured to obtain a set of sidelink synchronization signal (SLSS), identifiers (IDs). The processor is further configured to operate power control of transmission of a synchronization signal based on the first signal and the set of SLSS IDs. The user equipment manifests a reduced power consumption, an improved energy efficiency as well as an efficient synchronization coverage expansion, in and out of network coverage of a base station.

Abstract: The present application relates to wireless communications suitable for smart manufacturing and industrial automation. In particular, the application proposes a wireless communication device (UE) and a network device (BS), in particular suitable for cyclic communication. Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) is configured to perform power control for a sidelink (SL) feedback. The first UE is configured to select a communication resource for sending a feedback message over a SL to a second UE, and select a power level for sending the feedback message. The power level is selected based on the communication resource.
