摘要： A laundry system can include a rotational motion chamber configured to be actuated rotationally and an agitation chamber configured to receive one or more washable articles. The agitation chamber can be disposed within the rotational motion chamber. The agitation chamber can be configured to be actuated linearly within the rotational motion chamber independent of the rotational motion chamber in a first state, and can be configured to be engaged to and rotated by the rotational motion chamber in a second state.

摘要： A fluid recovery system for a laundry system (e.g., of a spacecraft) can include a main line having an inlet configured to fluidly communicate with a washing volume within an agitation chamber to receive washing fluid from the agitation chamber, a vacuum source in fluid communication with the main line to provide a partial vacuum to the inlet to cause washing fluid in the washing volume to at least partially evaporate, and a condenser disposed on the main line downstream of inlet. The condenser can be configured to receive evaporated washing fluid and to condense water in the evaporated washing fluid. The system can include a separator downstream of the condenser configured to separate water and laundry effluent gas, wherein the separator includes a water recovery output configured to output water for reuse.

摘要： A laundry system can include an input shaft, an output actuator, and a motion converter connected between the input shaft and the output actuator. The motion converter can be configured to convert rotational motion of the input shaft to linear motion of the output actuator. The system can include a laundry agitation arrangement connected to the output actuator to be linearly actuated by the output actuator to agitate laundry.
