    Abstract: An ink composition includes a colorant visible under visible light and a tagging composition, including a carrier and a detectable marker dispersed or dissolved in the carrier. The detectable marker is an isotope of an element, the isotope being present in the ink composition in a concentration ranging from about 1 parts per billion (ppb) to about 1000 ppb.
