Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide solutions to UE-initiated beam switching, beam pair switching, or link switching based on use of an association of at least two types of reference signals. The at least two types of reference signals include, but are not limited to, a beam management reference signal (BM-RS), a tracking reference signal (T-RS) and a channel state information acquisition reference signal (CSIA-RS).
