Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus configured to transmit and/or receive control plane signaling related to the control of radio resources of a sidelink communication system to/from a user equipment, UE, wherein the control plane signaling is carried over a user plane, in particular through IP encapsulation, of a second communication system between the apparatus and the UE.
