Abstract: A human body composition measurement method includes a body fat measurement device that obtains measurement information. The measurement information includes weight information and impedance information. The impedance information is obtained by measuring a first segment of the measurement object and the body fat measurement device further determines second segmental body composition information of the measurement object based on the weight information, the impedance information, and first segmental body composition information.

Abstract: A body composition detection method and a device (100) are provided. The device (100) includes a housing (2), a support layer, and at least one detector (101, 102, 103, or 104). The detector (101, 102, 103, or 104) includes an impedance measurement assembly and a dehumidification assembly. The support layer includes a processor. Both the impedance measurement assembly and the dehumidification assembly are electrically connected to the processor. The impedance measurement assembly, the dehumidification assembly, and the processor are all disposed inside the housing (2). The impedance measurement assembly is embedded on an upper surface of the housing (2). An upper surface of the impedance measurement assembly is flush with or higher than the upper surface of the housing (2). The upper surface of the impedance measurement assembly is in contact with a human body during measurement.
