Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to managing and conducting player pools. In one embodiment, players can join a player pool and play to win a particular prize. When the prize is hit, the pool is divided amongst the players based on their wager contributions. In another embodiment, the player pool can accumulate win amounts from all or some wins from players. As members of the player pool win, the win amount can be added to the player pool. At some point in time the player pool can distribute the wins across the members based on the wager contributions and/or win amounts.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to managing player pools, i.e., competitive groups of gamblers. According to embodiments described herein, players can join player pools and compete against each other. The winning player pool can receive some award or recognition. In one embodiment players from different casinos or gaming venues can compete against each other. That is, each casino or gaming venue can form a player pool of players. The player pools can be ranked by amount won, amount wagered, amount won on a feature (bonus), amount won on a category, e.g., flush, royal flush, etc., and/or other factors. As members of the player pools play, their contribution to the player pool can be recorded. For example, player loyalty accounts can be used to track the contributions and know which members are part of the player pool.
