Abstract: A valuable paper position correction method for correcting an offset valuable paper includes the step of enabling two sensors of a sensor unit to sense the presence of the valuable paper, the step of determining the time span between the detection of the sensors, the step of calculating the difference in distance between the two bill-transfer roller sets using the detected data of the time span and the revolving speeds of motors, the step of calculating the length of time needed for speed change, the step of controlling one of the motors to change its speed in driving the respective bill-transfer roller set, and the step of controlling the speeded up or slowed down motor to return to its former speed after the length of time for speed change is up.
