Abstract: Gasifiers are disclosed that include multiple chambers, multiple microwave sources and multiple arc plasma torches. Such gasifiers may be configured to have a drain, an exhaust port and a path of fluid communication between the exhaust port and the drain. Under appropriate conditions, the gasifiers may eliminate undesired waste while at the same time delivering a significant net energy benefit to the operator of the gasifier.

Abstract: The invention is a microwave gun and arc plasma torch furnace used to refine titanium, Ti, from titanium dioxide, TiO2, powder. The furnace includes high frequency microwave emitters that create a high temperature zone strongly vibrating the titanium dioxide powder, TiO2, and lengthening and weakening the valence bonds in the titanium dioxide powder, TiO2, titanium, Ti, and oxygen, O, atoms. The furnace also uses nitrogen arc plasma torch generators to generate a N+ plasma to completely disassociate the titanium, Ti, and oxygen, O, atoms into titanium ions, Ti+ and oxygen ions, O−, and permitting the formation of nitrogen dioxide, NO2, and melted titanium, Ti.
