    摘要: Polyester composition produced without antimony compound as a polycondensation catalyst including, 30 ppm or less antimony, 0.5-50 ppm titanium, and 0.1-100 ppm phosphorus, the number density of titanium-containing particles having an equivalent circular diameter of 1 μm or more being less than 100/0.02 mg; and a composition as above, containing 0.1-5 wt % organic polymer particles which have an average particle diameter of 0.05-3 μm and contain 0.01% or less of coarse particles which have a diameter at least twice the average particle diameter. Polyester catalyst including a reaction product between at least one of Ti(OR)4 and Ti(OH)m(OR)4-m, wherein Rs may be the same or different and each represents a C2-C10 organic group, and m represents an integer of 1-4, and a ligand including nitrogen, sulfur, and/or oxygen as a donor atom, and capable of coordinating with two or more sites.

    摘要: A copolyester and preparation method and use thereof are disclosed. In the diacid components constituting the copolyester, the content of the structure unit of terephthalic acid is 90 mol % or more. In the dihydric alcohol components constituting the copolyester, the content of the structure unit of ethylene glycol is 70-99 mol % and the content of the structure unit of aliphatic dihydric alcohol having 6 or less carbon atoms and having a side chain is 1-30 mol %. The copolyester further comprises a structure unit of polyethylene glycol. The copolyester can be made into fiber by common method, and further made into fabric, and the obtained finished-product has good dyeability to disperse dyes under normal temperature and normal pressure.

    摘要: A polyester composition comprising 0.005 to 10% by weight compound oxide particles having a volume average particle meter of 0.005 to 2 .mu.m, a relative standard deviation .sigma. of the particle diameter of not more than 0.3, and composed mainly of silicon (Si), aluminum (Al) and at least one alkali metal (M), wherein the contents of the silicon, aluminum and alkali metal satisfy the following requirements: 10 wt. %.ltoreq.Si.ltoreq.45 wt. %, 3 wt. %.ltoreq.Al.ltoreq.30 wt. % and 0.5 wt. %.ltoreq.M.ltoreq.20 wt. %, respectively. The polyester composition, particularly when formed into films, has excellent surface evenness, running ability and abrasion resistance, and such films are suitable particularly for magnetic recording media and other applications.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a polyester polymerization catalyst, comprising a solution containing an aluminum compound and an alkali compound, with water or an organic solvent or a mixture consisting of water and an organic solvent as the medium, a production method thereof, and a polyester production method, in which the product obtained by the esterification reaction or ester interchange reaction between an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or any of its ester forming derivative and a diol is polycondensed, to produce a polyester, comprising the use of said polymerization catalyst containing an aluminum compound.The present invention can provide a polyester excellent in processability and can overcome such problems as spinneret contamination, filtration pressure rise, filament breaking, film breaking and foreign matter production in the production process of products such as fibers, films, resins and bottles.
