Abstract: Provided is an anode active material for a lithium (Li) secondary battery, the material including silicon (Si)-based alloy powder, a carbonized layer at least partially surrounding the Si-based alloy powder serving as cores, and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) extending outward from a surface of the Si-based alloy powder through the carbonized layer.
